Blogtalkradio & Twit.tv

I listen to a soccer podcast on blogtalkradio.com it was nice but the people who were talking sounded muffled and low, the quality of the podcast wasn't that good. But it was good example of a podcast about sports, it had good topics and a concise conversation. Radio Mogul and A Football World sponsored this podcast there were many of them dating back to last December.

The one on twit.tv was too long and filled with advertisements and it sounded boring. The world of computers is not very exciting they talked about Microsoft Zune and downloadable music an trying to compete with Apple iTunes. They also talked about businesses and the new windows operating system. Overall it was good and a had clear directions and a good conversation.

New Stadium

I recently went to the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium for a soccer match. The stadium is in my hometown of Arlington, TX. It was a very fun experience although it wasn't a football game. Who knows if Ill ever get to see a football game in there but the stadium itself was spectacular. I know a lot has been made about this palace they're now calling "Jerry's World" as in Jerry Jones thee owner of the Dallas Cowboys. But what bugs me most about this new stadium is that people still thinks it's in Dallas when it's not. Actually it's really not even in Dallas County, its in Tarrrant County. Dallas is 30 miles away but when you hear it on TV they mention that there is a party going on in Dallas yet it's in Arlington. I thought getting the new stadium would put my hometown on the map but it didn't for now anyways. I don't know if they will ever say Arlington, TX when mentioning the Dallas Cowboys but if they keep losing I don't want them to. The Superbowl is coming in 2011 to Arlington, TX my little hometown I can't believe it. The new screen is great stunning HD I found it hard to watch the game and not gaze at the JumboTron.

Is VideoBlogging getting Old?

Videoblogging or Vlogging is nothing new it started wayyyyyy back in 05' during the YouTube sensation. Basically Vlogging is having a set of videos either posted on a blog or though RSS feed that is made regularly or often. The video blog can either playback on mobile devices, computers or Ipods. Today most people go to YouTube just to look at funny videos and maybe clips of something they missed on TV. To me a video blog is just like a TV show you have to keep it updated and interesting so people keep tuning in to hear what you have to say. But I pose the question is it getting too old now, with the neat things to do on the internet do people really have the time to tune in every time. The one good thing about video blogging is that it's better than a regular blog because it provides a visual aid. Now and days its hard to go to any website and just see pictures everything has to have a visual aid. I guess in that sense then videoblogging has come a long way.
